The Rock Island Grand Prix is an independent kart racing event which draws hundreds of entries from throughout the United States and Canada, competing for a minimum purse of $25,000. In addition to being recognized as the world's largest street race, the Grand Prix is a social event of a unique kind. With thousands of spectators lining the streets, fans and drivers alike can mingle in The District of Rock Island, the official host of the Rock Island Grand Prix.
